This is a 74HC series quad dual-input NAND gate logic IC. It should be used with standard +5v TTL logic circuits, although it is compatible with lower voltage operation. Please remember that the 74HC series of logic IC does not mix well with the 74LS series and take appropriate precautions in your design.
